Membership

Founded in 2005 to support emerging artists and under-recognized, mid-career artists, LAXART is expanding its mission to encompass thematic exhibitions that engage with key issues of our time. With the belief that contemporary art is a means to understanding the present, LAXART is a forum for discourse that begins amongst its members.

LAXART supports developments in contemporary art through its exhibitions. While our regular public programs are designed to contextualize those developments, our members-only offerings provide perspectives on the field of contemporary art as a whole. Through intimate access to artists, curators, critics, and art historians, members will gain insight into questions driving the field.

Alongside our Board, members are LAXART’s core support. They are integral to our ability to fulfill our mission as membership contributions underwrite all LAXART’s programmatic activities. Please join us.
