About the Event:

Éliane Radigue (born 1932, Paris) is one of the most important composers working in contemporary music today. Since the 1960s, her work has investigated the fabric of sound itself, focusing upon harnessing feedback and the ultra-subtle movements of fragile harmonics in relation to a constant tone. For approximately forty years, Radigue's work was created exclusively using electronic equipment (beginning in the 70s, primarily using an ARP 2500 modular synthesizer and tape).
